ogstevo talks about lessons from toxic relationships, accepting love and moving on

Chicago Rapper, @ogstevo , slides to @pvtstck to discuss his latest album release, “For You & Her,” lessons from toxic relationships, learning to accept love, and closing one chapter to open a new one.

In the song, “3AM In Chicago,” Stevo says, “We both got love / but this shit still don’t make sense / you drop your guard I drop my guard / but it still feel like a fence,” Stevo reflects on his inability to fully allow a relationship into his life, and accept the love his person is trying to give. Often, when we operate from a place of hurt and relationship trauma; we unintentionally hurt the next person. We keep a wall up even when we believed we let them all down.

Also discussed: Working with KB Mike, being chased with a brick & rental car, failing to love someone the way they needed to be loved.
