Owner of Dope Drip Cafe, David Silva, slides to the studio to discuss starting his restaurant, being in & out of jail, struggles with fatherhood, and changing after his prayer to God.

In the song, “Blame It On Me” Akon says,
“As life goes on / I’m starting to learn more and more about responsibility / And I realize that everything I do / Is affecting the people around me,” David had to be sitting in a jail cell for him to realize the ways in which he’s hurt those around him, and himself. Often, burying his true self behind a facade, David finally accepted that he needed to let go of his bad habits to grow & become the man his family needed. First, he had to accept that he was the problem.
