Blessd Concert Review: Colombian Star Shuts Down Rosemont Theatre (Chicago)
Sad Boy Radio x Live Nation
Thanks to Live Nation, Sad Boy Radio attended the highly anticipated return of Blessd at the Rosemont Theatre, and it delivered on every level.
From the moment doors opened, the energy was undeniable. Fans showed up in blue, waving Colombian flags and representing their culture proudly. A statue of Blessd inside the venue gave fans a chance to take photos, setting the tone for a night centered around identity, pride, and connection.
Returning after a year and a half, Blessd performed to a completely packed theatre following the release of El Mejor Hombre Del Mundo. The setlist blended new hits like “Cardio,” “Gracias A Mi Dios,” and “Nueva York” with fan favorites including “Mirame,” “Ojitos Rojos,” “Medallo,” and “Yogurcito.”
The crowd’s reaction was nonstop! Borderline “Bieber-esque,” with fans screaming every lyric and feeding off Blessd’s energy throughout the night.
Beyond the music, Blessd took moments to speak directly to the audience, emphasizing Latino pride and resilience. That message elevated the performance, making it more than just a concert. It felt personal.
The show ran nearly two hours, and the energy never dropped. Between high-energy performances, sharp visuals, and constant crowd interaction, Blessd proved why he’s quickly becoming a major force in reggaeton.
In just over a year, he’s gone from emerging Colombian artist to one of the genre’s fastest-rising stars; if this show proved anything, it’s that his momentum isn’t slowing down.
Final Verdict: Blessd didn’t just perform. He made a statement in Chicago.
